Searchlight’s Intelligent Search capability starts from the precept that it shouldn’t matter how the content has been authored or how the question has been asked.

SearchLight achieves this by referencing and using the ESD Standards and lists. So a search for information on what to do with a dumped car will automatically deliver content on ’Abandoned Vehicles’.

SearchLight can be configured to automatically search the A-Z of Services first in order to deliver high quality responses.

Search can also be configured to identify the most relevant LGSL service area, with Service Entries linked to FAQ information

Joined up searching is also possible with SearchLight in that District/County indexes can be combined to deliver Joined up information. Other service providers content can also be included or made available, e.g. Police, PCHT, Direct Gov, Shelter, Citizens Advice Bureau, Help the aged etc. etc.
