New York 18th September 2019: Today Oracle awarded Cintra with its 2019 Oracle Excellence Award for Partner of the Year – North America in Engineered Systems.

The Oracle Excellence Awards for North America Partner of the Year recognizes Cintra for its outstanding work in driving customer success with Engineered Systems-based private cloud technology. From business planning, acquisition and implementation, to connectivity, data center and integration services, Oracle partners provide the support and services needed to maximize the value of Oracle solutions for customers’ organizations.

Cintra was presented the 2019 Oracle Excellence Award for North America Partner of the Year in Engineered Systems for demonstrating an outstanding and innovative private cloud solution based on Oracle products. The Oracle Excellence Awards for North America Partner of the Year encourages innovation by Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) members, who use Oracle’s products and technology to create value for customers and generate new business potential.

Large-scale Exadata implementation

Cintra specializes in designing, delivering and managing Oracle public, private and hybrid cloud architectures. The Engineered Systems award recognizes a large-scale and time-critical private cloud delivery for a well-known financial services business.

The first stage required the implementation of 29 separate Engineered Systems, including Exadata Database Machine, ZFS Storage Appliance and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA). The second stage is a phased upgrade and migration of more than 200 important databases.

Delivering ahead of schedule

By continually reviewing lessons learned and feeding these into our process blueprint, we dramatically accelerated the Engineered Systems implementation process, meaning we completed two weeks ahead of schedule.
