Maginus, the omnichannel solutions company, is to begin its journey to the Oracle Cloud, following the opening of Oracle’s new Cloud Region in the United Kingdom.
The move will help Maginus reduce its legacy infrastructure costs, while also paving the way for it to offer new products and services to its customers.
Working with Cintra, Oracle’s UK Cloud Infrastructure Partner of the Year for 2018, Maginus will begin the process by moving a number of existing customer environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). If the initial pilots are a success, more workloads are planned to follow.
Underpinned by new Oracle commercial architecture
The cloud transformation has been made possible by a new commercial model that Cintra has put in place between Maginus and Oracle. The new model, which means Maginus only pays for the services it uses, has freed up considerable funds for it to reinvest in other Oracle technology, including the cloud.

This includes fully securing our data, keeping it within the UK, and ensuring performance would be at the level our customers expect.

Boosting ISV growth and profits
