Building your Oracle Database Appliance implementation
During the build stage, we look after every element of your new technology rollout. This includes commercial and technical negotiations with your hardware and software vendors, installation and configuration of the platform and applications, followed by migration from your legacy systems. How we do this
We’ll liaise with your infrastructure, hardware and application vendors to agree a detailed migration plan with your business. We’ll then work alongside your in-house teams and other suppliers to deliver a smooth transition to your new ODA appliance(s), with a constant focus on minimizing the impact on your day-to-day operations.
By working closely with your in-house technical teams, we’ll help ensure they understand how to operate the ODA appliance(s). Our tried-and-trusted combination of shadowing our product experts during implementation and formal knowledge transfer and training sessions ensures your teams get up to speed quickly.
During the build process, we’ll help you get optimum performance, availability and security from your Oracle technology. Having already designed the platform itself to deliver this, we’ll also configure your applications and databases to make best use of the ODA’s capabilities, in line with your available licenses.
Once your appliances are up and running, our Managed Services Center of Excellence will manage and maintain your new environment.
